Our Story

Adelaide Bih & Ingrid Sulem, founders of AIHRP

The story of AIHRP is born out of desire to cause positive change in health lives of everyday Africans using what available resources are at our disposal.

We the founders, Adelaide Bih and Ingrid Worti Sulem, have academic backgrounds in the medical sciences and we share a common desire to alleviate the sufferings we see around us. Rather than wait till every possible resource is in place to make a change we decided to start from where we were using what we had.

We have both seen firsthand how so many health problems could have been prevented with information and timely intervention. Hence the birth of AIHRP.

We try to target low-income persons in the belief that much of their healthcare and its associated cost can be handled using out-of-the-box thinking. One of our favoured methods is partnerships with invididuals and organizations with whom we can share synergy. With the effects we have seen so far, we are convinced that our vision is realizable.
